Work in progress

Here are two of the three instruments I started this month. One is a Cocobolo and figured Redwood 10 string Cittern, the other is a Cocobolo and European Spruce Celtic Mandolin.

Along with the guitar I made eariler this year they will be the last Cocobolo instruments I make. It is a fine timber but it has not been managed and stocks are very much depleted. I shall not add to the problem by buying any more. Add to this the dust from Cocobolo is foul and I've inhaled enough sawdust. So, here we are, two of the last three Cocobolo Forster instruments.
